Scenario: Teaching network security in my Cybersecurity class
Network Troubleshooting Project: A student created a comprehensive network diagnostic guide with step-by-step visuals, common error codes, and solution flowcharts. During their internship interview, they used this Canva project to demonstrate their technical knowledge and communication skills - and got the job!
Example: "Use Magic Write to brainstorm 10 cybersecurity threats for small businesses, then research each one using credible sources, create your own security protocol, and design an infographic that teaches others how to protect themselves."

Before Canva: Students submitted basic text reports with minimal visual appeal.
After Canva: Students create professional presentations that they proudly share with family and use in job interviews. Engagement increased 40% and project quality improved dramatically.
Document your Canva journey and celebrate your successes!
Week 1: Replace one traditional assignment with a Canva project. For example, instead of a written report, have students create an infographic about their program area - culinary students could show food safety steps, automotive students could diagram maintenance schedules, or health science students could create patient care protocols. You'll immediately see increased engagement and better retention of key concepts!
Start small and build confidence! One successful project will lead to many more creative possibilities.
